PhishFinder – The Adult Friend Finder Hack and How It Can Affect You (Phishing)

On Monday, November 14, 2016; 412 Million users of Adult FriendFinder and other sites operated by FriendFinder Networks woke up to find out that their information had been stolen in a hack of the company’s database. 340 million credentials were stolen from Adultfriendfinder.com, which says it allows users to “find sex, hook-up, and chat.” The hack also includes 7.1 million users from Penthouse.com, 1.1 million from iCams.com and 1.4 million from Stripshow.com. So how does this affect you? I mean, you don’t even have an account with any of the affected sites, right? There’s nothing for you to fear.
